Our highly-trained technical staff share a passion for working with doctors in providing unique case-planning experiences. From trouble-shooting, to combo cases, to material selection, Hermanson Lemke takes pride in collaborating with our doctors for success.

case planning

Successful cases, from full-arch restorations to matching a single anterior, require a certain degree of preplanning. As today’s cosmetic applications require a high level of technical knowledge and skill, we have several dedicated technicians who specialize solely in case planning assistance. Available at no additional charge, they are capable of helping you choose the best restorative products in any application to create your patient’s particular smile desires for a completely customized look.

In the initial planning stage of your case, we recommend submitting:

  • The complete treatment plan
  • Patient’s expectations and desires
  • Full-face, smile and retracted smile photos
  • Pre-Op models

We also highly recommend requesting Preview Wax-Ups. This is an invaluable tool when presenting treatment to your patients as it eliminates any surprises and gives you both the opportunity to make any necessary changes ahead of time. Most times, temporaries can be fabricated directly from the Hermanson Lemke Preview Wax-Ups.

Though temporaries can be fabricated in your office, Hermanson Lemke offers professionally fabricated temporaries.

Diagnostic Wax-Ups

  • Enhanced practice development
  • Consistent, predetermined results
  • Excellent patient selling tool
  • Fabrication of temporaries from the wax-up

Of the many benefits offered, Diagnostic Wax-Ups are one of the services we routinely recommend the most before a smile is "cosmetically enhanced." This helps eliminate most of the guesswork in the patient’s final results and is widely used in treatment presentations to increase patient case acceptance and satisfaction.

Custom Temporaries

  • Expertly Fabricated
  • Biocompatibility
  • Natural-looking aesthetics
  • Excellent margin adaptation

INDICATIONS: Provisional restorations

CEMENTATION: Non-eugenol cement

Our custom provisional restorations are fabricated using a custom wax form and hand-pressed, heat-cured acrylic resin. They can also be fabricated with metal reinforcement for added assurance with bridge temporization. As they are created using the same model as the final restorations, choosing our custom temporaries eliminate the need for chairside adjustments, offering clinicians a time saving alternative that can result in higher case acceptance.
